Via boston.cbslocal.com. Game 3 of the 2021 ALCS at Fenway Park between the Red Sox and the Astros was another offensive onslaught by the home team, led by another Grand Slam by Kyle Schwarber that sent the crowd into hysterics. But did a fan in the bleachers about 27 and a half years younger than him steal the spotlight?
Five month old Giovanni Cali was in the stands that night, and it wasn't even his first game! But the crowd was cheering all night for Fenway's youngest fan. He even won the dance off! His parents Kaitlyn and Antonio said,
“When we were in the row, we had a great presence behind us, we had a great group of people behind us, they were super, super nice,” Antonio explained. “Right around the fourth, they started chanting ‘we want the baby.'”
“We’re dancing and we just held him up like, ‘hey, here’s my cute baby, we’re dancing’ they showed him on the Jumbotron and the whole entire stadium was like yeah!” said Kaitlyn.
Then the curtain calls started, “They did it like four or five times and the place was going wild for him,” said Kaitlyn.
If the Red Sox make the World Series they should have him roll out the first pitch.
Watch him hit the bottle! (Chug, chug, chug, chug...)
