There have been so many celebratory rides in the Boston Red Sox home run laundry cart that there's probably grooves worn into the dugout floor. They made history last night as they became the first team to hit 3 Grand Slams in a playoff series!
The celebration after a home run has become a fan favorite, as the hero sits in the team laundry cart, infielder Jose Iglesias pushes them through the high fives from one end to the other. It's become so popular that Fox baseball analyst and former Yankee, Alex Rodriguez pushed Red Sox hero David Ortiz in the cart and posted it on Instagram.
But what's funnier, A-Rod pushing Big Papi through the Red Sox dugout, or Papi struggling to get out of the cart? Plus, check out the chaotic postgame celebration on Jersey St. as these two work the crowd. Papi with the thunderous cheers screaming, "this is my town," and A-Rod getting booed so badly that Fox had to mute the sound when the language got, "salty."
