OhioHealth Unveils New Wallscape in Downtown Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Ohio – OhioHealth has unveiled a new wallscape in downtown Mansfield’s Historic Carrousel District. The mural celebrates community moments throughout north central Ohio, including regional landmarks and OhioHealth services.

The project features iconic regional landmarks, incorporated into a unique illustration. Some of the recognizable markers include the downtown carrousel, North Central Ohio Land Conservancy, Bellville Bridge, Kingwood Gardens, Renaissance Theatre, Ontario Clock Tower, Snow Trails, Shelby Arch, and Deer Ridge Golf Club. Other community moments include a doctor with a mother and newborn, a pediatric patient driving a mini car to surgery, and people dining outside in downtown Mansfield.

“It’s important for OhioHealth to continue to support the beautification of downtown Mansfield, part of a community OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is so invested in,” said Curt Gingrich MD, president of Mansfield and Shelby Hospitals. “This wallscape helps encapsulate the fabric of Richland County and the surrounding region, which OhioHealth is an integral part of.”

The wallscape was installed in mid August. It’s located on the intersection of North Main and 4th Street.
