An Ambulance in Mifflin Township went off the road and struck a tree on Wednesday morning in Mansfield. The highway Patrol said, it happened just before 11 am, when a deer ran across in front of the ambulance on Koogle road, north of Touby Lane.
The driver, who was the only person on board, swerved to miss the deer, went off the road and hit the tree ,sustaining minor injuries. They were transported to OhioHealth in Mansfield. The 2024 Ambulance sustained moderate damage, according to the Patrol.
