A 17 year old male was arraigned on Tuesday in Richland County Juvenile Court on unspecified charges related to the death of 42 year old Jason Antrican, which took place in October of 2023.

According to RichlandSource.com, it's believed that the defendant was 15 year old at the time, when he was allegedly involved in the shooting death, which occured in a hallway at a Brookfield drive apartment complex in Mansfield. Also, the belief is that the prosecution will be seeking to have the defendant bound over for trial as an adult.

Back in February, the parents of Jason Antrican offered a reward of $20,000 for information that helped lead to the arrest and conviction of those involved.

Judge Steve McKinley said, a pre trail could happen as early as next week on May 21st.
