Ashland Approves Nearly $7 Million in Bonds to Fund Projects

Ashland City Council has approved issuing nearly $7 million in bonds to fund three projects, according to RichlandSource.com. The money would be used to build the city’s second fire station at Mifflin and US 42, extend water and sewer lines on US 250, along with the repainting of the water tower at Mifflin and Claremont Avenues.

Ashland Mayor Matt Miller says the fire station project, which is expected to cost just over $3 million, is likely to get started next year.
