The Richland County Commissioners have approved, giving two parcels of land to the Madison School District, which will create a driveway, from Galaxie Drive into the parking lot, at Mifflin Elementary.

RichlandSource.com reports, the land is about one-third of an acre, which Superintendent, Rob Peterson, said, will ease traffic safety concerns on Reed Road, after school, when parents come to pick-up their kids. Right now, there are times when traffic is lined-up in the parking lot and onto Reed Road.
