Shelby, Col. Crawford and Lucas Ranked In Final State Football Poll

The Final High School Football State Poll is out, with the playoffs set to kickoff statewide this weekend.

The Shelby Whippets have moved up 1 spot to 9th in the state in Division IV. Shelby , who did receive 1 first place vote, is 6-0 on the year and has a bye in the opening round of the playoffs. The Whippets will host the winner of Rossford / Wooster Triway on Saturday, Oct. 17th in the 2nd round of the playoffs. You will hear the game on My 100.1

In Division VI, Col. Crawford is ranked 7th. The Eagles are 6-0 and also have a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

Division VII, Lucas, after losing two games in a row, has fallen out of the Top 10. The Cubs are ranked 12th and also have a bye in the first round of the playoffs this weekend. Lucas will be in action next Friday night at home, as they will play the winner of Cuyahoga Heights / Mapleton.
