Mansfield Police to Get Body Armor Thanks to Grant

The Mansfield Police Department is set to receive body armor, thanks to a grant from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. They money will be used to buy 18 Tactical vests, which will cost just over $41,000. The Attorney General’s Office grant is for $31,000, so Mansfield city council has budgeted for the other 25% of the cost, which is just over $10,000.
