Listen to Eric Clapton on iHeartRadio

Eric Clapton is offering viewers a sample of what they'll see on his new "Unplugged: Expanded and Remastered" DVD.  In a preview video on his website, Clapton talks about reworking his classic hit "Layla" for the "Unplugged" format.

The two-CD/DVD release of "Unplugged: Expanded and Remastered" includes remastered versions of the original album's 14 tracks, along with interview clips, over an hour of rehearsal footage, and never-before released outtakes from the show.  A two-CD only version will also be available.

Clapton's "Unplugged: Expanded and Remastered" will arrive October 15th.  A month later, "Eric Clapton's 2013 Crossroads Guitar Festival" will hit stores.  This set will feature highlights from the two-day event Clapton hosted in New York earlier this year.  Keith Richards, Jeff Beck, the Allman Brothers Band, and Buddy Guy were among the many stars who joined Eric for the fundraiser supporting his Crossroads Centre in Antigua.

CD, DVD, and Blu-ray versions of "Crossroads Guitar Festival" will be released November 19th.
